Title and Escrow Group Ascendant National Title Hosts First Tee Clinic to Inspire and Empower Next Generation

Berthoud, CO (June 28, 2022) – Ascendant National Title, official title insurer of the PGA TOUR and Trustee of First Tee, is proud to announce it is hosting a First Tee Junior Clinic as part of The Ascendant presented by Blue, a Korn Ferry Tour event. The clinic will be held for participants from the First Tee — Green Valley Ranch and First Tee — Colorado Rocky Mountains. The packed afternoon of activity and inspiring presentations will take place at TPC Colorado, 2375 TPC Parkway in Berthoud on June 28, and will conclude with a $100,000 check presentation ceremony to First Tee and $50,000 to each of the local chapters. 

Ascendant National Title is dedicated to supporting the local community and bolstering First Tee’s commitment to helping young people build their strength of character through golf. First Tee’s mission is to empower kids through a lifetime of new challenges and continuous personal growth, supporting more than 2.2 million kids and teens across its chapter network each year. Locally, First Tee — Green Valley Ranch and First Tee — Colorado Rocky Mountains offer programming in 10 Colorado counties, and partner with 30 golf courses and 48 schools across the state, reaching more than 11,000 youth annually.

In attendance will be 40 First Tee participants, ages 8-12, from two local Colorado First Tee chapters. They will participate in coach-guided putting, chipping, and driving activations when the event begins at 1:30 p.m. MT, followed by refreshments and presentations by Ryan Tahara, Director, Tournament Business & Sponsor Relations, Korn Ferry Tour at PGA TOUR and Ascendant National Title Colorado President Wendi Milinkov on what it means to be a game changer at 2:45 p.m.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet Taylor Montgomery, a top player on the Korn Ferry Tour, followed by a Q&A at 3 p.m. before checks are presented to First Tee and its local chapters at 3:15 p.m. Participants will also be eligible to receive a logo shirt, hat, bag and more, courtesy of Ascendant National Title.
